Benevola is a faith community made up of people of all ages, life circumstances, and stages of faith, striving to be all we can be for God, one another, and our neighbors near and far. We are committed to serve Christ through our ongoing, 4-part mission:
“Engaging in Worship, Encouraging Study, Energizing for Mission, and Enriching Our Community.”
Centered in Christ
Jesus Christ is at the center of all our worship and serving. Through him, we learn of God’s love, find forgiveness for our sins, and become a part of God’s mission in the world. We believe Jesus is God’s perfect Son, fully human and fully divine, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose from the dead. We believe there is forgiveness and new life for all who follow him, and that he is still redeeming the world through the Holy Spirit at work in us.
In giving His Son, God has given us His very best. This is how we know that God is infinitely powerful and good, and why we want to share his story with everyone we meet. No matter who you are, where you’re from, what burdens you’re carrying or what doubts you have about God, God loves you, believes in you, and wants the best for you. We invite you to be a part of this great Message that has the power to change the world.
We’re not perfect, but we know the One who is. And by keeping our eyes on Jesus, we hope to become a little more like him each day.
